Smart Advertising Lighting Control System for Large Transportation Hubs

It has 120 million passengers a year. In such a large and complex transportation hub, the advertising light boxes in various functional areas become particularly important in terms of commercial advertising value, energy saving, safe use, and intelligent management.

Integrated PLC and IoT-Based Lighting Control System

The intelligent solutions plan made by the technical team at Rishang, which was based its design on the electromagnetic environment characteristics and electrical wiring layout of the airport's T3 terminal.

This solution is equipped with a 4G-PLC gateway, distributed PLC controllers, energy consumption meters, illuminance sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, smoke sensors, and intelligent dimmable power supplies, all integrated into an Internet of Things system (IoTSyS).

This system offers features such as data aggregation, remote monitoring of light boxes, energy consumption monitoring and management, automatic brightness adjustment based on ambient light levels, fault alarm and management, and remote management and control via mobile apps, WeChat applets, and web pages.

The Rishang team solved problems related to signal anti-interference, electromagnetic compatibility, and large spatial spans. The solution enabled refined and intelligent management of the advertising light boxes in Terminal 3, achieving high efficiency, energy savings, and improved safety for the management team.
